Built-up, turrets and baseplates
Mounting on machine tables, jigs or fixtures: The mounting bores for mounting on the machine table are made by the works; mounting bore pattern in accordance with customer‘s specifications. When ordering, please specify the machine table data.
Turrets without clamping spigots in the base remain permanently on the machine table. Turrets with clamping spigots in the base can be fitted and removed quickly on Delphin baseplates. This means that the machine table is also available for jigs and fixtures. Turrets are available customised. Material GG25 unless otherwise specified by customer.
Function of the pullstuds
Centring free of play
One special feature in relation to modular equipping of the machine tables is the option for arrangement and number of chucks. Regardless of the requirements of the application, you determine the quantity and the particular centre distance with which you wish to equip the machine table. Our recommendation: use at least 4 chucks per workpiece. You may need to work with pallets. The conical clamping spigots are mounted directly in the device or workpiece. Centring of the conical face of the centring and compensating clamping spigots free of play achieves maximum accuracy.

Centre distance
The centre distance is the centre-to-centre distance between the relevant chucks. The recommended centre distance is the default ntre distance of 250 mm or 200 mm (with HCP also 100 mm are possible).
A centre distance in X-or Y direction should be selected quadratically. This offers the advantage that, for instance, a device or orkpiece can be indexed in the case of machining operations on a 3-axis machine.
